Anaya is a 5 year old girl with light brown eyes and silky jett black hair. She is of Indian descent and speaks with a slight accent, as English being her second language. She is a talented ballerina and gymnast. She lives in a middle class neighborhood with both parents which own a few small businesses. Anaya is a very outgoing girl with a “know it all,” type of attitude. But she has a big heart and uses her smart mouth as a defensive mechanism.

Charlotte is a 6 year old African American. She is shy and super smart, and very athletic. She too lives with both parents and comes from a wealthy family. She is bi-lingual also speaking French. When she is not studying French she enjoys drawing. She has two older brothers and sometimes feels neglected because she is the only girl. The family is so caught up in the glamour and lifestyles of the rich that she feels overlooked at times.

Taylor is a 6-year-old boy, with blonde hair and piercing blue eyes. Taylor, is of Swedish descent and lives with both parents; his mom is a teacher and his father is a senior sales rep for a major shoe company. The family lives in a middle class suburban area. Taylor is very outspoken and has a spectacular imagination, which often gets him in and out of trouble.

Andrew is of Jamaican and German heritage. He is 6-years-old and has light brown curly hair, with natural highlights. He is a very shy boy, even awkward at times. He lives in a huge city. He is the only child being raised by his father. His mother passed away from cancer when he was only 2-years-old. The loss has affected Andrew a lot even in his young age. Even though Andrew is shy he is incredibly wise and witty, almost as if he has an old soul.

Ava is a 6 year old girl of Italian descent. She comes from an affluent family and lives with both parents. Ava is a dreamer, she wants to learn about the world and explore. She plays tennis, and loves horseback rides. She loves to read books. Ava has three sisters (two older) but she is a born leader. She wants to grow up and be an actress.

Isaac is a bright-eyed, always-into-something 6-year-old boy. He is Hispanic, and he and his brother were adopted by a great family. They are first-time parents. He was in a foster home practically his entire life. He is interested in electronics and what makes them work and tries to put computers, Blu-ray players, phones, or any electronic together after breaking them down. He is an identical twin.

Jonathon is a 7-year-old boy of Chinese descent which lives with his newly widowed father. He has a fear of being alone. He comes from a very strict family, but now has to readjust due to losing his mother. He is trilingual (Spanish/Mandrin/English). He is kind of shy but always wants to understand what’s going on around him. He is very strong for his age and doesn’t have any siblings.
